Georgina is a seasoned producer specializing in international productions shooting in Japan.

With over 30 years of experience, she has helped bring numerous projects by overseas filmmakers to life by navigating Japan’s unique cultural and production landscape.

Her role extends from finding the best Japanese locations and crews for international projects to advocating for a better system of shooting permits, enhanced production incentives, and easier access to information for filmmakers coming to the country.

Projects that she has worked on include both independent director-driven European films as well as large scale US studio projects.

 Enter the Void, Earthquake Bird, Map of the Sounds of Tokyo, Jumper, Gran Turismo  among many others.

Television productions include Girls (Japan Episodes),  Mozart in the Jungle (Japan Episodes), Giri/Haji and more recently for Apple+ all episodes of SUNNY.

In spring of 2023 Georgina set up TOHO Tombo Pictures Inc., a partnership with Toho Company to serve international projects shooting in Japan.  

Recent projects include The Smashing Machine and Marty Supreme  for A24 as well as Monarch: Legacy of Monsters and Prodigies for Apple TV.
